This three day (24 hour) course is designed for the initial training of individuals who desire to be asbestos building inspectors. The asbestos building inspector training includes, Asbestos Characteristics, Health Effects, Medical Surveillance, Safety Considerations, Personal Protection, OSHA, EPA, State, and Local Regulations. It also includes how to perform asbestos inspection in various buildings including but limited to public and commercial buildings, homes and schools. ASBESTOS Contractor / Supervisor Initial class, 40 hours. For supervising asbestos abatements. EPA/CDPHE Approved. This five day (40 hour) course is designed for the initial training of individuals who desire to be asbestos abatement contractors / supervisors. The contractor - supervisor training includes, Asbestos Characteristics, Health Effects, Medical Surveillance, Safety Considerations, Personal Protection, Regulations: OSHA, EPA, State, and Local, Pre-Work Activities and Considerations, Confining and Minimizing Airborne Fibers, Waste Disposal Requirements, Post-Removal Lockdown and Asbestos Substitutes. training for supervision of the workers, managing respiratory and safety programs on the asbestos job site and information on interpreting air sampling. The training prepares the student for the CDPHE licensing exam.

Asbestos Building Inspector Refresher, Four (4) Hours. EPA / CDPHE approved. The Asbestos Building Inspector class consists of Four (4) hours of review and theory, will provide the student with the most current information on industry regulations and practices affecting each discipline. Students may take the refresher training from MIISERS INSPECTION and Training if their original certification was obtained from another institution, as long as the original course was EPA approved. 4 hours. Annual Asbestos Supervisor Refresher 8 hours EPA / CDPHE approved. This eight (8) hour annual refresher course for Asbestos Supervisor consists of discussion and review of the asbestos supervisor training, industry regulations and practices. This course will provide the student with the most current information on each discipline. Students may take the refresher training from MISERS Occupational Safety Training even if their original certification was obtained from another training provider, provided that the original course was EPA/CDPHE approved.
